όπως κάνουν μέχρι τώρα; Ποιος θα ασχοληθεί με την Τουρκία η οποία δεν δείχνει διατεθειμένη να ασχοληθεί σοβαρά με το ζήτημα αν δεν βοηθηθεί κι αυτή οικονομικά;

Successive Greek Governments failed to press this issue at the EU meetings. For years successive Greek governments did NOT mention the problem of migration into Greece..
ΑπάντησηΔιαγραφήOnly now !! they see that thousands of Illegal migrants are sent by the Turks to Greece. But still today from the President to Prime Minister and his ministers and the Parliament they have NOT realized the gravity and reality of the danger. This is the plan of Turkey to destroy Greece. Ozal said it clearly how they should it: by sending millions of Islamists into Greece "to finish with them (the Greeks)". What we see today is part of Turkey's plan against Greece.. Greece is in danger. The migration problem is an invasion problem for Europe and is not Greece’s problem. The problem is serious and requires European long term strategic policies and effective actions to deal with this now, urgently. Greece is a small country with a small population and without the resources to house, to give jobs, educate and take care of hundreds of thousands of illegal Islamic immigrants including children as you can see.
The situation in Lesbos Island is worse. The Greek Islands in both the Aegean and the Ionian Sea are targeted and are under pressure by thousands of migrants. Then the cities and towns in the mainland Greece are swamped. They camp in the squares. Greece cannot cope.
A European strategy and well-coordinated European action are needed. Here is my suggestion:
1) The Turks push thousands of migrants into Greece. Turkey is not like Libya. Turkey has strong government, police & army and should stop this. The EU, NATO and the US must press Turkey & individually America, Britain, Germany, France, Italy, Span, Finland, Austria, Poland & Bulgaria, with threats of severe penalties including expulsion from NATO. In this way the flow of migrants from Asia and East Africa will stop. Turkey can and should stop it, instead of encouraging.
2) Accept the fact that the destination of the migrants entering Greece is NOT Greece but other countries of Europe with stronger economies, larger population and better prospects
3) Have a system of distributing the migrants entering Europe in other countries and accept that apart for the humanitarian aspect, most of these people can and will make a valuable positive contribution to the economy and life in Europe. History has shown that this is true
4) Designate areas where migrants can be accommodated and additionally, design and build expansion of towns / cities and design and build new towns with the help of the migrants where they will be housed
5) Develop an effective dialogue and co-operation with the African and Asian countries of origin of the flow of migrants and with controlled assistance help the economic development and job creation there, help with the improvement of the governance and services and reach agreement to design and build new towns / cities there with jobs
6) Make arrangements with Canada, Australia and New Zeeland to take a large part of the migrants, as they have the space and need population
7) . Ensure that those who ought not to be here are sent back to their country
Clearly, this is serious long term problem and requires European strategies and action. It is like burying our head in the sand when we treat this as some temporary crisis which will go away tomorrow. It will not go away. This is serious and all the above realistic six action based strategies and policies are needed
